St. Johns Virtual School Application

All eligible students in grades K-12 have the right to participate in full-time and part-time virtual instruction programs (VIP). Primary virtual curriculum options available through St. Johns County Virtual School includes, your District virtual instruction provider (SJVS our FLVS franchise and curriculum partner k12, Inc.), Brevard Virtual School Partnership, or the statewide Florida Virtual School.  If you are interested in participating in a VIP program as a full-time student, please contact St. Johns Virtual School at 904-8080 or visit www-sjvs.stjohns.k12.fl.us for eligibility, application and more information on the VIP program options in St. Johns County.  You will select your option during the enrollment process. 

What is the St. Johns Full-Time Virtual School?  SJVS Full-Time is a public school in St. Johns County for students in grades 6-12. Students in this program take 6 courses online through St. Johns Virtual School and are expected to follow the pacing guides for each virtual course.  Students who want to take virtual and courses at their geographically zoned school must contact their school counselor.  Administration approval is required to modify a St. Johns Virtual schedule.  The program is recommended for students achieving on levels 3 and higher on the FCAT tests. Students scoring lower than this may have to attend their zoned school part time for remediation.

For existing applicants, once your application has been processed and you have received notification of acceptance, please follow the steps listed below: 

  1. To select courses for next year, please call 904-547-8089 or email Michele “Susie” [email protected] to schedule an office or telephone conference with Michele “Susie” Ankrom, SJVS School Counselor.

  1. Placement in a class can be within a week if the parent/guardian has:
    • Approved the course(s) in the “Guardian Account”
    • Emailed Michael Eisen informing of your status
